Larry and I just celebrated knowing each other for 6 years ! We marked the occasion by going snowtubing at Blue Mountain in Pennsylvania. The sun was out and attractive ski outfits were everywhere. Our runs started in a family tube as a warm up. Then we discovered the single tube ride, but tethered together. This gave us a more exhilarating, invigorating ride !

Had my bridal shower at work yesterday. Was lovely. The gift was most generous. Many staff members contributed to the scrapbook and Loretta, our scrapbooking expert put a beautiful book together.

Made friends in Facebook and swapped messages with some. Wrote on my wall.

Accepted an invite to be Linked In with a special colleague. I already am on LinkedIn.

Now the thought has to be — how to make best use of these new avenues of communication. Busy now with the wedding a little more than a week away and being ready to assist with compliance of the new NIH Public Access Policy, however, this is something to think seriously about.
